Senior Account Manager

The Senior Account Manager role is the main day-to-day contact for assigned accounts, as well as being in full control of client projects and liaising internally across the agency to ensure that all areas of output are aligned (across planning, insight, data, technology, production & creative). The role is also to be to support account on-boarding, growth and incremental business opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• To lead and manage the day to day activity on assigned suite of account. Supporting Senior Account Directors, Account Directors or Business Director in identifying opportunities for growth.
• Take the lead CS role on the delivery of assigned campaigns and projects, or work as part of a team on larger projects – develop relationship with key clients and 3rd party agencies and relationship management of internal departments for delivery.
• Ability to work with and support peers, Account Managers and Account Executives. 
• Ability to manage all elements of the Edit proposition for a client from insight & planning through to the data and creative briefing & execution.
• Demonstrate commercial acumen for financials, time and resource management and invoicing
• A good level of experience across the full Marketing Mix 
• Ability to write activity briefs, pricing proposals and document client requirements succinctly 
• Ability to review client reports and present results back to client with recommendations and next steps
• An understanding of Insight – both strategic and data driven
• An understanding of how technology supports CRM – the key tools that are available for this and what solution the client may need to execute initiatives
• Help to drive business growth of existing clients through development of a proactive action plan and using internal ‘experts’ to formulate ideas 
• Present (verbally and in writing) the Agency's proposals and recommendations effectively, logically and concisely
• Responsible for the growth of allocated client accounts, seeking commercial opportunities within the account expanding the agencies services 
• Responsible for day to day budget management, monitoring all job costs, and obtaining approval before spend is committed 
• Support and work with Marketing Architect, Developers and Project Managers while working on technical projects Support Edit with potential new clients and new business opportunities and projects outside of key client responsibility

• Agency account management experience
• Excellent client facing and presentation skills
• Confident with financials with a commercial outlook
• Resourceful, tenacious and capable of being calm and decisive under pressure;
• A good facilitator
• Ability to work on your own and in a team
• Strong MS Office skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Expert administration skills covering meetings etc – meeting organisation (always have pre-meetings, clear roles and responsibilities agreed in advance, circulate directions, key people present and Bios, minute taking etc)
• A real understanding of how CRM fits into the overall Marketing proposition and again how these apply to the Client and sector in question
• An understanding of Digital channels
• Prepared to travel when required
