Customer Targeting Manager

Purpose of the role

To provide an accurate and timely service to our Clients, across a range of day-to-day services including:
• Campaign requirements gathering
• Build and execution of direct marketing campaigns
• Response reporting
• Ownership of campaign documentation
• Client communication


All practical data elements of multi-channel campaign deployment, including:
• Interpreting Client campaign briefs, and identifying any areas of the brief that require further clarification and/or approval
• Accurate execution of intricate customer journeys
• Working with multiple marketing technologies including ESP’S, CMS’ and CRM databases
• Collaborating with partner and third-party agencies to fulfil the client’s requirements
• Reporting on, and understanding, campaign results to suggest ways of improving deliverability or engagement
• Creating efficiencies within customer targeting to reduce manual effort and add value
• Effective communication with other departments within Edit as required
• Investigation of problems where they arise, and ability to identify causes and propose solutions
• Attend internal or external Client meetings when required


• Understanding of campaign strategy and customer journeys
• In depth understanding of marketing automation and practical knowledge to fulfil requirements within an array of marketing technologies
• Good understanding of relational databases
• Experience using Marketing Software and ESP’s (such as IBM Marketing Software, Alterian, FastStats, Watson Campaign Automation, Pure360, Microsoft Dynamics, Cygnus)
• Excellent communication skills
